This is suppose to have a bit of a tattered look, with many edges left raw. The the ends are a beautiful white embroidered cotton. The center is a muslin that I softened using the wash board method, and I tell you, it's soft as butter. The centerpiece is an antique piece of lace, with a beautiful design all over. It was shipped here from France, in excellent shape except for a tiny stain in the center. The shorter ends are made with an antique mesh that has a wrinkled look and embroidered design. Around the rim is a very soft white tulle trim. When I create these they always suppose to look perfectly imperfect. There should be a bit of the sewing thread here and there. It's a relaxed piece perfect for any space. It does not at all need to fit your table perfectly, It should appear to be carefree and drape any way it wants to. As you can see in one photo it would be beautiful on a sofa or use it as a bed scarf. Drape this from a hook or several on a wall and enjoy the beauty. *Note: I did expose several photos, so you can see the designs in a better way.
