Cherub with blue bird statue with crown measures 12" tall, 8" wide, 7" deep (about 15" tall with crown)
I painted and distressed this cherub using homemade techniques in white that gives the look of aged concrete or plaster, with an aged patina. The pretty bird is painted in a homemade liquid gold, and just looks beautiful. The wings and hair are painted in a silvery- gold, a mix I created. Around the neck is my signature key, heart and cross, in the form of a rosary and vintage pearls, to add that shabby look. The crown is a recreated piece. I Used several vintage and antique rhinestone pieces in the front. One are the wings of a butterfly, it's very old so a few stones may be missing. But they are tiny and don't show. This Cherub piece is very sweet and would be a great for with any decor or memorial. What a beautiful gift for a new baby or another important occasion!
