Large table vase with ornate handles embellished cherubs with handmade crowns, roses and rhinestone jewels anita spero design

Gorgeous, brilliant vase with ornate handles. It measures 14" tall, 13" wide and 10" deep. This is an older piece made from a composite/resin. It had faded into a greenish gold color and needed to be cleaned. I painted the whole piece in my liquid gold after embellishing it with metal rose appliques. I created oversized crowns for the gorgeous cherub handles and adorned the laurel leaves on top and acanthus leaves on the bottom with vintage (new old stock) rhinestone pieces. The leaves have a wavy sweeping appearance and almost look to have movement. I wanted it to look more like a metal or bright brass, so I buffed it really well. It is on the heavy side but not enough that it cannot be moved around easily. Honestly, I wouldn't use it for live plants. I would create a beautiful overflow bouquet or leave it as is and showcase it. This could be turned into a memorial urn easily by finding or creating a cap to sit inside the piece.
