Handmade embellished hat box with lid adorned in tattered fabric, lace and roses, beautiful gift box or storage by Anita Spero design

This pretty vintage heavy cardboard hat box received a beautiful new face. It measures 14" across by 8" tall. The lid is a tight fit but will loosen up a bit with time. I sanded the inside so the lid cannot slip off, if you wish to hang it. I created a heavy set of hearts from cardstock, one for the top and one inside. I added French lettering, paper roses (including handmade), floral and bird appliques, and a bundle of tattered fabric/ lace to hang gracefully from a shelf or wall. Use this as a box or both pieces can be put on the wall together or separately. This is a pretty storage piece that also plays as decor. Great piece to keep knick-knacks or collectables. A very good way to keep organized, but with a storage piece that is pretty to display.
