Colorful African woman mixed media collage art. 20" by 20" and about 3/4 lip.

With the use of several types of paint, leafing, flowers and handmade roses i made this piece is a statement full of color and beauty. It is distressed in areas with bits of gold leafing and heavily coated with a gloss protectant that really brought the colors out. I used vintage ethnic pieces of gorgeous jewelry to give her dimension and character. This is on wood board with a lip and the lip has been leafed in brilliant colors, so you don't need a frame unless you want to. You can add a hook or just place it on an existing wall picture hanger. Place it on a dresser or surface and create a vignette of like items. This is a stunner and would easily fit with any style as it is an art piece. It would look awesome in an area where you keep plants or near a lighting source to bring out the brilliant leafing colors. Add it to an existing gallery wall or start one with a ethnic or 'women of beauty' theme.
